Top Ten Tuesday #12

Top Ten is an original feature/weekly meme created hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. It's a fun way of discovering new books and genres, and is open to everyone.
This weeks Top Ten is Bookish setting you'd love to visit! Here are some of the places I'd love to see and explore. What would yours be?
  1. Hogwarts/Hogsmeade/Diagon Alley: I know am way too old now to get a letter, but that doesn't mean I haven't given up hope! Who know's, maybe they take in older students whose magical talent took longer to appear.
  2. Middle Earth: I can't think of any one place to visit, so I'd definitely go backpacking. I'd of course avoid the less than savory areas.
  3. Red London: Omg!! I would love to go to the night markets! Or maybe even compete in the Element Games. I can already smell roses!
  4. The Night Court: Velaris, a city for dreamers, it'd be paradise!
  5. Chateau de Montsegur: A real place in the south of France it was the last stronghold for the Cathers during the Thirteenth century. Now in ruins the castle is open for tours. I found out about it whilst reading Daughters of the Grail by Elizabeth Chadwick. The book is purely fictional in terms of the characters but the history is as true as it can be considering how well things were recorded back then. Although it was a place of loss towards the end, it felt like it still holds some significance.
  6. Konohagakure:  Village Hidden in the Leafs, and home to one of the best and most unpredictable ninja's, Naruto! I'd love to visit especially if I got to be a ninja. It's such a beautiful village.
  7. Camelot: I mainly want to go to discover if the myths are true. It'd be amazing if it turned out they were!
  8. Mytica: From the frozen beauty of Limeros, to the woods of Paelsia, and finally the glittering city of Auranos! Again this would be a magical place to go backpacking a round.
  9. Jersey: I've wanted to visit Jersey ever since reading Half Hidden by Emma Blair. Again a real place, there is so such that happened to this island during the second World War. The tunnels the Germans had war prisoners build during the islands occupation are still there, and part of me would love to learn more about what it must of been like for the people who lived there during that time.
  10. Kyralia: The Magicians Guild would be the first place I'd visit! All that magic and knowledge!! I'd write an entire history book on magic, and the surrounding areas.
