Ten Books I've Most Recently Put Down
Here are my top ten books I have recently put down. Now none of these books are on here because I don't like them, but because I simply haven't got round to picking them back up again. I have made a promise to myself that I will have at least five of these books finished by the end of year!
- Empire of Storms by Sarah J.Maas
- Vicious by V.E. Schwab
- Frogkisser by Garth Nix
- Book of Lies by Teri Terry
- Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige
- Caraval by Stephanie Garber
- Cell 7 by Kerry Drewry
- Perfect by Cecelia Ahern
- Strange the Dreamer by Lani Taylor
- Enchantress by James Maxwell
I did the same with Caraval and Strange the Dreamer!
ReplyDeleteBut you should pick Cell 7 back up, it's excellent once you get in to it.

I'll definitely be picking Strange the Dreamer back up soon!! Think I've only struggled with Cell 7 because am in more of a fantasy book mood, then dystopia at the moment.
DeleteI wish I'd given up on Stealing Snow, because I really didn't get on with it! Still need to give Caraval and Strange The Dreamer a go - they're so long that they intimidate me, but I'm sure I'm going to love them.
ReplyDeleteHere's my TTT!
I kind of feel like because I am over half way through, that I might as well finish it. I found it interesting to begin with, but it's as though it drops off. Strange the Dreamer is worth giving a go, & I know exactly how you feel. Why I haven't finished it yet.
DeleteI DNF'd Stealing Snow with no regrets. That book was just not good-- very disappointing. I've heard very mixed things about Caraval. It was so hyped and then just didn't seem to live up to it. Great list :)
ReplyDeleteAm gutted Stealing Snow is turning out to be disappointing.
DeleteThank you! =)
I haven't read these. I do hope you're able to finish them, and I hope you enjoy them. Some books just take a bit longer to finish. Here is my Top Ten Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteStealing Snow I really struggled with, I wouldn't recommend picking it back up again. Caraval and Empire of Storms are worth a second shot though.

I will most certainly be picking Empire of Storms back up, especially I've just gotten Tower of Dawn. I feel like I can't start it until I've finished Empire of Storms.
DeleteCaraval is one I want to get around too one of these days. And I read Teri Terry's Slated series and liked them, but I'm not familiar with this one. Must be her newest book...
ReplyDeleteI've read all of Teri Terry's book bar this one. It's different from her other works, such as the Slated series. Once I've finished I'll post a review.
